Arabella :: hydranencephaly, microcephaly, visually impaired

Meet Arabella! This sweet girl was abandoned at birth. When she was brought to the hospital she was only hours old with her umbilical cord still attached and suffering with hypothermia. Her MRI showed hydranencephaly with complete absence of frontal and parietal brain parenchyma, with small volume temporal parenchyma bilateral. She also has severe microcephaly and is blind. Each day sweet Arabella shows her strength by defying the odds which are stacked against her. She brings so much joy to the lives of those closest to her.

Arabella was placed in foster care and taken in by an angel on earth. In October 2016 Arabella was officially adopted and given a forever home.

Arabella’s new mommy has fostered 6 children, several with special needs. We first met this loving woman when her daughter Rosie was nominated as our Sweetie. Rosie had been diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma and fought a hard fight. Every step of the way her mom was by her side giving her love, and the best care possible. This super momma continues to be a strong advocate, a loud voice, a nurturing hand, a powerful example of love, and a hero to her children.

Join Sweet Nectar Society as we wrap our sweetness around Arabella, her mom, and siblings.
