MEET ALEJANDRO!

Alejandro stole the hearts of his photographers with his kissable cheeks and little grin! Don’t you agree- he is so ADORABLE! Alejandro was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He has endured 2 surgeries and will need to have another surgery in a few years. While hospitalized, his happy personality caught the attention of all of his nursing staff. HLHS is a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. The left side of the heart does not form correctly during pregnancy. Hypoplastic left heart syndrome is just one type of congenital heart defect.

Sweet Nectar Society provides every photo session at no-cost as part of their non-profit photography organization. Photographing medically fragile children just like Alejandro, helps raise awareness and highlights each of their courageous personalities and sweet spirits!
